Over the weekend, the Israeli military successfully rescued four hostages from Gaza, bringing the total number of hostages held in the Gaza Strip from the October 7 attack to 116. Additionally, there are four individuals who have been held captive since before October 7, making the total number of people kidnapped from Israel and currently held in Gaza 120.
According to information from Israel's Prime Minister's Office (PMO), it is believed that at least 41 hostages from the October 7 attack have tragically lost their lives, with their bodies still being held in Gaza. Among the four hostages who were held in Gaza prior to October 7, two of them, unfortunately, are Israeli soldiers who have been confirmed deceased. The status of the other two individuals is currently unknown.
