Is Scotland v England on ITV or BBC today and how to watch live stream online

On Saturday afternoon, Scotland will host England as they compete for one of the oldest trophies in world sport, the Calcutta Cup, which has been awarded to the winner of the fixture since 1879.

Scotland won the cup last year following a historic win at Twickenham and could be the favourites this time around with a strong team coming up against an England side with a lack of international pedigree compared to previous years.

New stars such as Freddie Steward and Alex Dombrandt were bedded into the squad over the autumn with players like Mako & Billy Vunipola phased out of Eddie Jones' plans.

Bristol-bound Ellis Genge makes a start in the front-row as a loosehead prop while his future teammate Kyle Sinckler will prop up the other side of the Red Rose's scrum.

Harry Randall also makes the bench, meaning that Bristol will boast a strong matchday contingent which will hopefully continue throughout the tournament.

In a surprising captaincy call, Tom Curry is handed the armband, preferred to the vastly experienced Ben Youngs and Maro Itoje, with the Sale man favoured for the role in Owen Farrell's absence.

For Scotland, Exeter's Jonny Gray makes his eagerly awaited return to the Scotland team after missing the autumn while his Chiefs teammate Stuart Hogg captains the side.
