Irish teenager Dara Costelloe signs new Burnley deal after bench role in Premier League relegation battle

Dara Costelloe Burnley Clarets

Limerick teenager Dara Costelloe has signed a new contract with Burnley after making the Clarets' bench for the last seven games of the Premier League season.

The 19-year-old has had a successful two years with the club at under-23 level and was their top scorer at that age grade last term with 12 goals.

Costelloe, who can play on the wing or up front as a striker, joined the Clarets from Galway United, having made his senior debut for the Tribesmen as a 15-year-old against Finn Harps in 2018.
