One Irish EuroMillion players is celebrating scooping a five-figure sum each after Tuesday evening's draw - but they were close to taking home the huge jackpot.
In total, nine countries play the twice-weekly draw, with Ireland having seen 19 previous jackpot wins, the most recent of which came in February.
However, on Tuesday night the €142 million top prize wasn't won, though eight punters managed to match five balls.

That won them all a tasty €21,671, including one Irish player.
But if that lucky Irish pplayer had matched the Lucky Stars, they would have come home with the life-changing jackpot.
In total over 48,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games including the one winner of the Match 5 prize worth €21,671
Meanwhile, 50 players are now €2,000 better off after the EuroMillions Plus draw.
