NEW DELHI: Former India left-arm fast-bowler, Irfan Pathan, has identified the dismissal of wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul as a pivotal moment in India's defeat against Australia in the 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup final.

Pathan believes that Rahul's departure hindered India's ability to accelerate their innings, ultimately resulting in a below-par total of 240.
