Ireland's weather is likely to turn colder, particularly at night, in the coming days as a north-easterly airflow chills the country.
Met Éireann is predicting some frosty nights and generally cool and showery conditions over the weekend with temperatures most likely to dip next week.
In its latest forecast, Met Éireann said Thursday will be a "mainly cloudy day with a few spots of light rain or drizzle, but overall plenty of dry weather. It will occasionally brighten up in places. Moderate southerly breezes. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
