Ireland is set for an unsettled end to the week as showers move in across the country, with still some sunny spells breaking through.
Met Eireann has predicted fog and icy patches to develop as temperatures plummet on Thursday night, bringing with it some dangerous road conditions.
The South will see the worst of the weather as a low system moves in, causing damp and dull conditions and strong winds.
A forecaster said: “Latest charts for that low system Sunday. A little further South now and could strong winds for a time Sunday along with a spell of rain. Still subject to change though. Some nice sunny spells tomorrow after early rain clears.”
