As Ireland basks in a mini-heatwave bringing scorching temperatures in the 20s, Met Éireann has pinpointed which counties will be the hottest over the coming days.
This Thursday sees temperatures hit the 20s for the first time, with the range across the country between 17C and 22C.
The national forecaster has revealed that the best of the sunshine will be in the east and the south, with Wexford and Waterford both taking the ticket and topping off at 22C this Thursday; while Dublin, Mayo, Clare and Galway will be between 18C and 19C.

For this Friday's forecast, a Met Éireann spokesperson said: "Another dry day tomorrow with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Rather cloudy to start with better sunshine later in the day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 or 22 degrees with a light northeasterly breeze."
Saturday will bring the same temperature range, with counties in the south and south-east, such as Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford, enjoying the warmest temperatures of 22C, as the country looks to flock to beaches along the coast.
While temperatures will cool off a little on Sunday, the two-week mini-heatwave is set to pick back up on Monday, with temperatures back up from 19C on the previous day, to 21C.
In the west of the country, including coastal counties in Munster and Connacht such as Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Galway will enjoy the warmest temperatures, while the east, including Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford will experience the coolest due to an easterly wind.
On the outlook beyond Monday, as the country continues to soak in the sun, Met Éireann said: "High pressure will persist through much of next week with little change in our weather.
"Temperatures for most areas will be around 20 degrees or a little above. Cooler along the east coast due to an easterly airflow."
