Iran rejects Rubio's claims, blames US sanctions for global energy crisis

Iran rejected the recent remarks made by the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and emphasised that the allegations were a clear attempt to distort the realities and to deflect attention from the destabilizing policies of the United States and the Zionist regime. It also blamed US sactions against Iranian oil exports for the global energy market hostage.

The US will not permit Iran to hold the global energy market hostage, Rubio had emphasised during a high-profile meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
