LIV Golf have been accused of copying their rivals at the PGA Tour after introducing a 'Party Hole' at this week's tournament in Adelaide.
This week's event in Australia is set to be one of LIV's biggest yet, with the Saudi-funded series heading down under for the very first time. The Breakaway circuit have a whole host of Australian connections, with the nation producing CEO Greg Norman and star player Cameron Smith.
And the pair are set for a huge homecoming from the Adelaide locals, with a sell-out 60,000 crowd expected to attend the event across the three days of play.
One spot those attending The Grange will be looking to sample is the par three 12th. Not for its impressive views and testing approach shot, but more for the party atmosphere that is expected come tee off time on Friday.
LIV have announced that the par three on the back nine will be the feature 'Party Hole', aptly named the 'Watering Hole'. The creation has been met with criticism from some, with the breakaway circuit seemingly trying to recreate the famous 16th at TPC Scottsdale - one of the PGA Tour's most iconic golf holes.
Known for its pumping atmosphere and beer-drinking, the hole has become synonymous at the Waste Management Phoenix Open for pint-lobbing when a hole-in-one is made. Whether the same can be said for the 12th at The Grange remains to be seen, but with a sell-out crowd packed in under the Adelaide sun all weekend, the atmosphere is set to be a rowdy one.
As well as the action on the course, there is also set to be plenty going on off it at the 12th, with LIV confirming that a LIV DJ will perform at the Watering Hole. A horseshoe grandstand with beer garden-like terrace seating surrounds the side and back of the 12th green, whilst pop-up tents sit behind where a whole host of drinking options are available.

One man who is looking forward to getting himself onto the 12th tee, is local boy Smith. The Ripper GC team captain said: "I know it will be kind of our first party hole experience and to be honest I couldn't think of a better place to have it than in Australia.
Seemingly backing LIV's answer to TPC Scottsdale to challenge its PGA Tour rival, Smith added: "It will get pretty rowdy and pretty loud so it is going to be awesome." LIV's maiden event down under is set to kick off on Friday, with a whopping $25 million up for grabs.
