Clem Burke, irrepressible Blondie drummer, passed away aged 70 this week, and the band's official statement called him "not just a drummer; he was the heartbeat of Blondie".

But he was a drummer, through and through, with a love for the art that saw him recording and gigging till the end. When we were lucky enough to speak to him in 2014, he told us, "You've got to listen to what the greats have done"
