Look Fantastic boasts one of the most popular beauty advent calendars to be released each year and I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype.
The stunning Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar is said to be one of its best yet - so we needed to investigate why. At £95, it's an expensive gift for a loved one or to treat yourself for Christmas, but it absolutely seems worth it.
There's 26 products inside and top brands featured this year include Elemis, Iconic London, Philip Kingsley and Rodial to name just a few, but you can also find a handful of independent brands too which makes the box that little bit more tempting.

With a combined value of over £500 for all of the above, it seems a worthy investment for beauty fans who enjoy trying new products in their skincare and makeup routine. I had my eye on plenty of the featured products and I knew I would never have got around to buying them in stores alone, so it was a great way to make the most of the big savings secured by snapping up the calendar.
Shoppers also have the option to make a quick and easy saving of £15 on the purchase by signing up to the Look Fantastic Beauty Box. The online retailer's Beauty Box is a subscription service with a variety of monthly plans available to suit shoppers.
My thoughts
I'm really impressed with the variety and quality of the products on offer in Look Fantastic's Beauty Advent Calendar. There's 26 products inside, and some have quickly become firm favourites and permanent additions to my beauty routine.
I can massively vouch for the Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer hair mask - I have used this product before and it does incredible things for my brittle and quite fine hair. It has given me plenty of volume to help my hair get stronger and thicker, which is something I have always struggled with.
If you haven't tried using a cleansing balm to remove your makeup at the end of the day, you're missing out. This has proved to be a true gamechanger for my routine, and this year's Look Fantastic calendar features the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm - ideal for those keen to switch up their skincare practices.
It's worth £9.50 and I use it every evening for a clean and silky smooth finish before applying my toner and moisturising.
Overall Verdict
Look Fantastic's Beauty Advent Calendar is easily the best advent calendar on the market - and trust me, I've tested a fair few.
I can only rate it a 5/5 based on its range of incredibly popular products, the design of the box and it's decent mix of hair, skincare and beauty essentials, which I think shoppers are going to love this year. The bargain price of £95 is worth the spend in my opinion - you have top brands with plenty of full size products you may never have thought to try otherwise. You can purchase it here.
