I absolutely love going for coffee, and as a result, exploring new coffee shops is one of my favourite things to do.
When it comes to a good place to grab a hot drink, I love pretty interiors, delicious coffee and a wide selection of sweet treats. With this in mind, I decided to head to Co.Co. on Castle Street.
The speciality coffee and cocktail venue serves coffees, pastries and sweet treats by day, before becoming a welcoming bar at night. The duality of the venue can be reflected in a rather fitting neon sign on the wall which says 'late nights, early mornings.'

I headed to Co.Co. in the day for a coffee and was instantly impressed with the venue's aesthetic. With neon lighting, exposed brickwork and cosy booths, Co.Co. is most definitely an attractive place to visit. If you love Instagrammable decor, this is the place for you.
I opted for an oat milk latte, which is my go-to coffee order and was priced at £3.90 - regular lattes at Co.Co. cost £3.40 and I paid an extra 50p to have it with oat milk. I definitely wasn't disappointed and felt the drink rivalled my regular chain.
Whenever I visit a coffee shop, I always have to have a cake or pastry to satisfy my raging sweet tooth. Luckily, I was spoiled for choice at Co.Co. and went for a Galaxy cookie. This was honestly one of the best cookies I've ever eaten - it was nice and thick and full of chunky pieces of smooth Galaxy chocolate.
The cookie was priced at £3 and was well worth it - I was eyeing up some of the other flavours to try on my next visit before I'd even left. Overall, I was so impressed with Co.Co. The staff were so friendly, the coffee and cakes were perfect and the overall vibe was so stylish. I'll definitely be back again.
