Kim Kardashian joked that she “needs to meet a doctor or lawyer” as she discussed her love life after splitting from comedian Pete Davidson last month.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday, the 41-year-old insisted she is “happily single” and “not looking” for love anytime soon as she focuses on her law studies.
However, the reality star, 41, playfully remarked that when she is ready to date again, she won’t be looking towards Hollywood but maybe a hospital or science lab.
Asked what she looks for in a partner, Kardashian responded: "I haven’t really thought about it, because I’m not looking. I just want to chill for a minute.
“I think I need some time to myself and to focus, finish school, all that. But I think my next route, I feel like I have to ... go to different places. Clearly, it’s not working, whatever I’m doing."
Then, sharing some ideas for where she could find her next love, she said, "Maybe [I could go to] a hospital and meet a doctor, [or] a law firm.
“I think it’s going to be scientist, neuroscientist, bio chemist, doctor, attorney, that is maybe what I envision in the future.”
The entreprenuer split from Davidson, 28, last month after nine months together and recently wished him the best for the future.
Although their whirlwind romance came to an end in August, the SKIMS founder has no animosity towards Davidson as she spoke highly of the Saturday Night Live star in a chat with Interview Magazine.
She shared in the magazine’s American Dream issue: “He’s a cutie. He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up.”
The couple reportedly decided to end their relationship last month due to their demanding schedules after Davidson travelled to Australia to film his new project, Wizards!.
At the time, a source told E News! that the pair have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” but that the long distance “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship”.
