Netflix is adding 61 new movies in September 2025, a hefty amount for it to keep its place among the best streaming services. I couldn't help but scour its list of new movies to see what's coming up, and you're in for a treat.
You can always rely on Netflix to add the best movies, especially those loved by critics and my movie picks below all have over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes from reviews. But that's not the only good thing about them, as they're also perfect for movie lovers of all ages – and are great for older viewers who want a good movie to invoke a sense of nostalgia.
