I'm A Celebrity stars fly home together and Jill Scott can't leave jungle life behind

The stars from I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! are heading home after the series wrapped on Sunday.

Loose Women host Charlene White, 42, posted a pic of the gang in the hotel lift as they prepared for the chilly weather back home.

Boy George, Scarlette Douglas, Bababtunde Aleshe, Sue Cleaver and Seann Walsh couldn't keep the grins of their faces, despite having to say goodbye to the jungle.

One campmate who looked like she was struggling to leave camp life behind was Lioness Jill Scott, who still had her branded backpack on as she checked out of the hotel.

Sharing a video of the footballer and her partner on Instagram, Charlene joked: "Jill struggling to leave jungle life behind."

A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette also shared a snap of the gang getting ready to leave the hotel with the caption: "Bidding farewell to some of the I'm A Celeb family," with a heart emoji.

She then posted a pic of Jill, Owen and Seann, stating: "Home time for some of us. I'm dragging this trip out for as long as possible!"

The celebs were later seen rocking up at Brisbane Airport as they prepared for the long flight back home.

Jill and her fiancée Shelly Unitt looked in good spirits, despite having to say goodbye to jungle life.

They were joined in the airport by Matt Hancock's girlfriend Gina Coladangelo, who cut a casual figure in a white vest and jeans.

Mr Hancock has chosen to stay on in Australia following his refusal to comment on exactly when he plans to return to work as an MP, and his team's inability to confirm if the politician will be donating ALL his fee for appearing on I'm a Celebrity to charity, like it has been implied.

Discussing the MP's decision to let Gina fly home solo, a source told the Mirror: "Matt was due to go home on Tuesday afternoon Australian time with lots of the other contestants and Gina.

"But he left her to fly home alone so he could make more money with a big interview. Gina was lucky winner Jill and Shelly took her under their wing and they stayed with her in the queue."

Also getting ready to check in were Seann, his pregnant girlfriend Grace and comedian Babatunde.

When football icon Jill was crowned the Queen of the Jungle on Sunday, the celebs decided to break with tradition and swerve ITV's wrap party.

Charlene shared a snap of the campmates at La Luna restaurant at the Marina Mirage with the caption: "Last ones standing after a food and wine-filled night with all the campmates, family and friends.

"Brilliant final meal to officially mark the end of our crazy @imacelebrity experience."

Matt Hancock's girlfriend Gina led the gang out to party after their jungle experience.

Looking every inch the loved-up couple, the pair enjoyed a drinks reception at the JW Marriott hotel before boarding a mini bus with the other celebs for a boozy three-hour dinner party.

The new friends looked like they had a whale of a time at the fancy eatery with Mike Tindall's wife Zara Phillips later papped with no shoes on.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 marked a welcome return to Australia after the pandemic and peaked with viewing figures of 11.5million - making it the most popular series since 2018.
