After they raised concerns about his future in the show after he landed in the 'bottom two' alongside Scarlette Douglas when she was given the boot on Sunday night, fans were left gutted when the popular comic and Celebrity Gogglebox star was given the jungle axe at the end of the latest episode.

And, when it came, Twitter was quickly awash with complaints from ITV viewers, some who said they were 'done' with the new series, while others called for a 'voting inquiry' as disgraced former Health Secretary Hancock survived again.
