I'm A Celebrity debate as Richard Madeley slams celebs for not questioning Boy George over past

Richard Madeley returned to Good Morning Britain in October after a month long break from the show. The often controversial presenter has, in the past, been reported to be at odds with his fellow presenters' opinions and it was an I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! debate that has created the most recent 'on air' conversation of note.

In 2009, Boy George, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, now 61, was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for the assault and false imprisonment of Norwegian model and male escort Audun Carlsen. The Culture Club frontman ended up spending four months in prison.

Madeley, 66, slammed this year's jungle contestants for not holding Boy George to account over his past actions. Co-presenter Susanna Reid said: "It was more than 10 years ago that it happened."
