Hollywood superstar Matt Damon was a regular feature in Dublin during the Covid pandemic after shooting ground to a halt on a Ridley Scott film he was starring in at the time.
The Good Will Hunting star was spotted in the local community of Dalkey, where he was living with his family during the lockdowns, RSVP Live reported.
He admitted that he and his family loved their time in Ireland so much that they would consider moving here permanently.

"I loved it so much and my kids still say they could all move there" he told the Dermot & Dave Show on Today FM Radio, adding: "We had the best time."
The 52-year-old actor also said that he felt "somewhat guilty" about having such a great time in Ireland, considering the lockdown was "brutal" for so many people.
"We just got so lucky to be absorbed into this beautiful town in this beautiful time in the world" he said.
It is understood that Damon, who is married to Luciana Barroso for two decades, stayed in the house of Formula 1 star Eddie Irvine.
The property, with an address at the highly coveted Sorrento road, is valued at €8 million and is available on AirBnB for about €1,000 per night.
The Massachusetts-born father-of-three said he and his family reflect on the time spent in Dalkey with "great fondness."
While in Ireland at the time, he chatted with SPIN 1038's Graham and Nathan, and said that life in Dalkey was treating the family very well.
"This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been," he noted.
"I’m with my whole family, I’ve got my kids, and we have teachers with us because we were planning on missing school for about eight weeks, so we’ve got what nobody else has which is actual live human beings teaching our kids, the schools are all shut down back home and all the kids are doing remote learning," said Damon, who stars in Air, a newly-released Michael Jordan-based shoe drama.
