Flannels is the kind of label that when you hear of it you automatically think luxury, designer and prestige products and services.
This week I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the new Liverpool flagship store and getting a tour of the gorgeous counters and wow what a beauty it is. I also got a makeover and in depth introduction to the Gucci Beauty products now available in store.
The lovely Lynsey Harding, Business Manager for Gucci, gave me an insight into the amazing new Gucci Beauty lines and I was immediately obsessed with the vibrant colours, powerful, punchy fragrances and a stand out mascara to die for. Gucci originally launched make up in 2014, under the creative direction of Frida Gianninni and Pat McGrath, and it was phased it out by 2016.

For its 2019 rebirth under Gucci's current Creative Director Alessandro Michele, Gucci Beauty is thriving and looking to push its incredible new products out to the world now more than ever. Walking through the entrance of the new Flannels store and into where the beauty counters are on the ground floor, Gucci undoubtedly stood out amongst the rest.
Now, I'm all for neutrals and classic looks but I'm a really big fan of the statement Gucci Beauty is making. The colours are beautiful on all the packaging with beautifully intertwined floral prints present too.
I am a sucker for a great compact too. The eyeshadow palettes are a real staple look for the brand and come with a mirror and a practical removable palette with a little storage underneath.
Lindsey used the neutral purple hues from the Gucci Beauty eyeshadow palette on me to give me a makeover in preparation for a night of food and drink and she also gave me such a great insight into the Gucci Beauty world.
Every product used was perfectly explained. I particularly loved the rose scented Brume De Beaute Hydrating Mist which at £47 is quite steep but it is simply beautiful on the skin and perfect as a summer, handbag essential to keep cool.
The overall look I absolutely loved and it was great to sit in a beauty department store where the staff are all so attentive and lovely. I had other members of staff help me find my perfect scent in the fragrance section. It just so happens I have expensive taste and fell in love with the Oud Blanc Van Cleef & Arpels Perfume so I'm already saving to go and pick one up!
