I Dream of Jeannie’s Barbara Eden baffles fans with ‘ageless’ appearance at 94

Barbara Eden, 94, shared a new photo of herself and her husband on Instagram, with fans pointing out that she looks better than ever.

The I Dream of Jeannie star documented her Easter celebration Sunday on Instagram, alongside her partner, Jon Eicholtz. In the photo, she and Eicholtz each donned a pair of colorful bunny ears while smiling in their living room, with a bright easter egg wreath behind them.

“Happy Easter from us bunnies! We hope it's been beautiful and full of joy! -B & J,” Eden wrote in the caption.

Fans in the comments gushed about how great the actor looked and hilariously asked for beauty tips.

“She looks amazing. I want to know her secret,” one wrote, while another added: “Ageless beauty for sure.”

“Wow she is looking good,” a third added.

A fourth reiterated: “Still gorgeous and ageless!!!”

Eden previously shared how she stays in shape at her age. During a 2024 interview with Fox News, she explained that while she used to go to the gym a lot, she’s switched to doing at-home workouts.

“I used to work out all the time,” she said. “I used to do spinning classes and then do weights with a trainer ... [But] when Covid hit, that ended my heavy workouts. Now I have a stationary bicycle and I lift five pounds. I use very lightweight weights, but they’re good for your bones.”

She noted that she tried doing aerobics, back when it was “all the rage” in the ‘80s, but it wasn’t the right fit for her. Eden instead found a simpler workout that she could do daily: walking.

“Now that’s another thing. If you can walk briskly, which suits me just fine, that’s good for you. It’s good for your knees and ankles. I find it better than running,” the actor added.

Eden rose to fame in the hit sitcom I Dream of Jeannie, which ran from 1965 to 1970. She portrayed the show’s titular character, Jeannie, a 2,000-year-old mischievous genie freed from her bottle by astronaut Tony Nelson (portrayed by Larry Hagman).

Aside from her success as a TV star, she has starred in many hit films, including Flaming Star, alongside Elvis Presley, and Harper Valley P.T.A.

Although she’s not acting full-time anymore, Eden is still involved in the entertainment industry. In November, she appeared alongside Hal Linden in a one-night performance of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters at the El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Eden celebrated the 60th anniversary of I Dream of Jeannie in September on Instagram, with a special shoutout to her former co-stars, Hagman, Hayden Rorke, Billy Daily and Emmaline Henry.

“The amount of happiness and warmth I feel when I think about 'Jeannie' is immeasurable. Working with Larry, Hayden, Billy, Emmaline... it was a such a magical time,” she wrote. “I never would have thought, that Jeannie would still be with me, always, right over my shoulder after all these years. Yet, she's still there! I wouldn't have it any other way!”
