The Marvel Cinematic Universe has spent years training fans to treat every premiere appearance like potential spoilers. An unexpected actor steps onto the carpet, and suddenly people are wondering about secret cameos, multiverse variants and whether Kevin Feige has hidden another casting announcement in plain sight. So naturally, Michael B. Jordan turning up at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day caught my attention.
Jordan is not part of the 2026 movie release’s announced cast, and there was no obvious reason to expect Killmonger at a Spider-Man event. Yet the Sinners star arrived wearing a vintage-style Spidey T-shirt, wide-leg black trousers and a few understated accessories. The surprise appearance was fun, but the outfit, as you can see in the image below, may have been even more unexpected. In an era when premieres of new superhero movies regularly inspire full-scale method dressing, Jordan looked like a very stylish fan who simply wanted to support his neighborhood web-slinger.
