A date has now been set for the inquest looking into the death of Hunter White, a baby who passed away at just 18-days-old. The baby died at the home address in Hucknall, in Nottinghamshire.
Hunter was pronounced dead by paramedics who were called to Kingsway Gardens, Hucknall, on July 10, 2020. A pre-inquest hearing was held at Nottingham's Council House on Friday, April 8.
Speaking to court, Mr Mr Gordon Clow, Assistant Coroner for Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire, said: "My scope in this inquest is to determine the cause of death on the balance of probabilities. I understand that we still have court proceedings ongoing."

Matters including safeguarding and the family health history will be looked at, the inquest heard. Social care workers and midwives who were involved with Hunter's care during his lifetime will also be approached to send statements.
A provisional date for the first hearing was given for June 6. The inquest is expected to take three days. Another pre-inquest hearing will possibly take place on May 16.
