Tesco is giving shoppers a festive boost this December with a major Clubcard update. Normally, you earn one point for every £1 spent—but starting today, you can grab double points on gift cards, making it easier than ever to earn extra rewards.
Ban Mahsoub, Tesco’s partnerships director, says: “With two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, you can give something they’ll love—and get a little back for yourself too.”
Collected points can be used in-store or online, or converted into vouchers for popular partners like Cineworld, Disney+, RAC, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and restaurants including Pizza Express and Zizzi’s.
To cash in, just scan your Clubcard in the Tesco app or swipe your physical card at checkout. Don’t miss your chance to boost your festive funds—this offer could net you up to £534 extra before Christmas.

Buy a Vauxhall and get £500 in Clubcard points
Earn 50,000 Clubcard points when you purchase a new Vauxhall car.

If you refuel at an Esso station with a Tesco Express, you’ll also receive points at a rate of one point for every £3 spent on fuel.
Over time, these points can really add up. For an average driver, you could accumulate around 270–300 points per year, turning routine refueling into an effortless way to boost your Clubcard rewards.
Evri: Earn Clubcard Points on every pound you spend
Use Evri’s online parcel service to rack up extra Clubcard points every time you send a parcel. You’ll earn 1 point for every £1 spent, making it a simple way to boost your rewards over time.
To claim your points, book your parcel through Evri’s website and enter your Clubcard number at checkout. Points will be added to your account once the order is complete.
Note that Tesco Express stores are gradually phasing out Evri ParcelShop drop-offs, so in-store parcel services and points collection may no longer be available.
