A busy section of the Edinburgh bypass is experiencing huge tailbacks following a multi-vehicle collision which closed the road.
The eastbound carriageway near Sheriffhall recently re-opened to traffic following a multi-vehicle smash shortly after 3pm on Saturday, May 27. Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were in attendance.
Live traffic images show huge tailbacks forming between Sheriffhall and Millerhill as diversions were temporarily put in place for motorists. Traffic Scotland has also alerted road users to the incident.

"Sheriffhall Roundabout Lane 2 Eastbound at Gilmerton junction has re opened. Journey times on the Eastbound are 18mins and on the Westbound, 12mins.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed reports of a two-vehicle collision shortly after 3pm with recovery currently taking place. There is no reported injuries at this time.
