How to watch 'House of the Dragon' season 2 online and from anywhere in the world

Rhaenyra (Emm D'Arcy) stands on a beach with her dragon, Syrax, in the background in "House of the Dragon" season 2.

One of television's most famous (or infamous?) families is here again with the bloody tussle for power in "House of the Dragon" season 2. The "Game of Thrones" prequel series has finished its second season, and we'll explain here how you can watch "House of the Dragon" season 2 online around the world and from anywhere with a VPN.

If you're still working your way through season 1, then we won't reveal any spoilers in this article. But it's giving nothing away to say that season 2 picked up with tensions reaching boiling point. The Dance of the Dragon — the name given to the civil war raging through House Targaryen — is only set to intensify further.

Heavy may be the head that wears the crown, but Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) both believe it's theirs that has the right to do so. This is set roughly 200 years before "Game of Thrones", but the sister show's backstabbing, chicanery and political manoeuvring are all familiar plotlines for the prequel.

Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke), Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) are all trying to pull the strings from the shadows. So, whether you watched this live every week or waited for the full season to be out, expect gory deaths, bloody vengeance and dragon chases aplenty.

Picking up after the devastating events of the first season finale, where the Dance of the Dragons was set into motion, the season will follow the civil war between the two rival factions of the Targaryen family: Rhaenyra’s Black faction and Alicent’s Green faction.

The tension escalates as alliances are forged, and betrayals mount with both sides vying for control of the Iron Throne.
