The UK is experiencing a record-breaking heatwave as temperatures soar to the hottest ever experienced in the UK in May.

The hottest May temperature record was broken again on Tuesday. However, cloud cover and a developing easterly wind are expected to bring a “reduction in temperature highs for many areas” from Wednesday.
