It was a case of lucky number 13 for Justin Rose on Sunday after the Englishman clocked up a baker's dozen of PGA Tour titles at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open.
The Englishman led wire-to-wire at Torrey Pines, ultimately running out as the champion by a remarkable seven strokes to claim his second Farmers Insurance Open triumph.
A serene closing two-under-par 70 was more than enough for Rose, who actually began the final round six shots clear and was already an overwhelming odds-on favorite.
The 45-year-old has now extended his lead over Nick Faldo in terms of most PGA Tour wins by an Englishman. Not only has Rose widened the gap between Faldo in relation to trophies, but the 2013 US Open champion has also increased his Official Money total by a significant margin, too.
In 2025, Harris English won $1.674 million for winning this event. However, in 2026, Rose has landed a check for more than $1.7 million (before factors like taxes and other takeaways reduce the amount of money he really sees) after the overall prize purse was increased from $9.3 million to $9.6 million.

Still, it will be a welcome payday for all of those who performed well enough to reach the first page of the leaderboard.
Although Rose ran away with the trophy, the chasing pack was tightly bunched and several players picked up significant checks.
Ryo Hisatsune canned a birdie on the 72nd hole to jump into a three-way tie for second alongside Si Woo Kim and Pierceson Coody - both of whom have begun the new campaign very well - with the group collecting just under $700,000 each.
Other stand-out finishers in the top-10 included Sahith Theegala and Joel Dahmen, who both finished T7th and Jake Knapp who ended T5th.
Below is the full prize money breakdown for the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open after 74 players made the cut at Torrey Pines.
