Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart is now a proud mum to a baby girl.
The soap star took to social media to share her happy news with her followers on Instagram, as she posted the first snap of her newborn bundle of joy.
Jessamy - who plays Liberty Savage on the Channel 4 soap - announced her pregnancy last year and admitted it had been a "a journey" getting to that point.
The new mum shared the first picture of her daughter Joni Drew O’Gorman with her 106,000 followers on Saturday night, with her fans and celebrity pals rushing to wish her and husband Ryan well.
Sharing a snap of her sleeping baby, Jessamy captioned the sweet snap: "Our little girl. Joni Drew O’Gorman 04/01/2023 8lb4.
"After every storm comes a rainbow and this rainbow came on the anniversary of of us first finding out we were pregnant. [rainbow emoji].
"We are besotted. @lwhhomebirthteam & @liverpoolwomens I owe you the world xxx."
Jessamy's Hollyoaks co-star Jessica Fox was one of the first to comment on her update, writing: "The biggest congratulations! You are you an absolute Wonder Woman and Joni is perfect in every way xxx."
Steph Waring, who plays Cindy Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap, added: "Congratulations to you both what a perfect beautiful gift! Welcome to the world Joni."
Anna Passey joined in and wrote: "Oh Jess! What a little angel. Good work superhero! Can’t wait to meet her! Congratulations to you and Ry xx."
New parents Jessamy and Ryan tied the knot in November 2021, with the happy couple announcing the actress' pregnancy in August 2020.
The Hollyoaks star showed off off her blossoming baby bump on Instagram at the time, alongside a picture of an adorable wooden ornament with 'Our little rainbow due December 2022' engraved on it.
While sharing the news with her fans last year, Jessamy also revealed it has been a difficult journey to parenthood for the couple.
Jessamy wrote: "Baby O'G, you are so loved already.
"Our little rainbow, due December 2022. Getting to this point has been a journey for us - the road to parenthood often is, so to anyone reading this heavy hearted on their own baby journey, I see you and I feel you."
