Pregnant Hollyaoks star Nadine Mulkerrin left fans thinking she had given birth early with a sweet Instagram snap of a newborn.
The soap favourite shared a snap of three-year-old son Reggie with a baby, saying: "A weekend of meeting Beau Blue."
Many fans automatically jumped to the conclusion Nadine had given birth and a string of congrats messages filled up her feed.
Nadine, who is't due until May, then shared a snap on Instagram stories which said 'cousin love' and clearly showed her bump.
Nadine shared her own pregnancy announcement with an adorable image of little Reggie sitting in front of a small Christmas tree with his legs out looking at a baby scan.
Nadine captioned the photo on her page: "' This better not be my only gift mum'," along with a heart emoji.
Rory shared a similar picture along with one of Nadine showing off her baby bump as she stood next to the Christmas tree.
The couple have been together since 2017 and they announced their engagement in December 2018.
Their characters - Joel and Cleo - got married themselves on Hollyoaks, and Rory followed suit months later with his own proposal.
"It was terrifying. I felt like I was on my knee for an eternity and I remember saying: ‘Go on, just say something!'" he joked to OK! magazine.
"I felt that she was always going to say yes because we always have a laugh about it, but in that moment when I was on my knee I thought, she’s saying no!"
" Well. Here we go again…. I ‘think Reggie is warming to the idea of having a little brother or sister," he captioned the series of posts.
Nadine and Rory shared the news of their first pregnancy before they hit the red carpet for the British Soap Awards in Salford back in 2019.
Nadine gave birth to little Reggie in October 2019, with the two sharing the news on social media.
"Welcome to the family wee Reggie Speed 15.8.19," Rory wrote at the time
"We love You man. So proud of Nadine, I didn't think I could love her anymore but my heart is bloody bursting! She was amazing throughout her labour. Women are seriously Superhuman x."
