Holidaymakers told ‘do not travel’ as company suspends all services

  • Bristol-based luxury holiday operator Wayfairer Travel has suspended all services until further notice, leaving upcoming trips in doubt.
  • The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust (ABTOT) has advised customers due to depart on or before 30 September 2026 not to travel.
  • ABTOT has launched a claims process for affected holidaymakers whose protected travel arrangements cannot be provided.
  • Wayfairer Travel confirmed accounting and legal discussions are underway, with a formal update promised for customers this week.
  • Founded in 2012, the company specialises in luxury holidays to destinations including the Maldives, Japan, Peru and Kenya.
