A popular Duke Street restaurant is offering diners a "sick deal" throughout January.
The new year is finally here and while many people are inevitably embarking on a health kick, some are still keen to indulge in all the deals and discounted food January has to offer. Many restaurants are celebrating 2023 by slashing the prices on main meals, or dishing up a variety of savings with 2-4-1 deals, and more.
Down the Hatch is one restaurant keen to welcome people through its doors for less. The popular vegetarian and vegan "junk food" restaurant, located in the city centre, has gained a loyal army of fans.

Tucked away down a set of blink-and-you'll-miss-them stairs on Duke Street, the restaurant specialises in plant based "junk food" - ideal for those partaking in Veganuary this month. The cosy yet cool restaurant boasts exposed brick walls, atmospheric mood lighting, and is often packed to the rafters.
This month, meat eaters, vegetarians, flexitarians and vegans alike can enjoy two for one burgers throughout January. One of Down the Hatch's owners, Jay Baker, branded the discount a "sick deal".
The deal is available Monday to Friday, from 3pm until 9pm, on any burgers sold as an individual item - so not part of a meal deal. The burgers don't have to be the same, so there'll be no arguing over the menu.
The offer can't be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts, and is only applicable to burgers, so wraps aren't included. Down the Hatch can be found at the Basement level, 62 Duke Street, Liverpool, L1 5AA. To make an online booking, click here.
