Hikers fall from mountain ridge in Glencoe as rescue helicopter sent to scene

A rescue helicopter scrambled to save two hikers who were scaling a steep ridge in Glencoe this weekend.

The pair had been climbing Aonach Eagach in the sunshine before one fell a short distance and the other became stranded. With a leg injury, the distressed duo called Police Scotland, who sent Mountain Rescue teams to the incident.
