An Israel Defense Forces spokesperson has refuted claims made by Hezbollah regarding the damage caused by their recent strikes against the country. Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari stated that there was no damage to IDF bases, neither in the north nor in the center, contrary to Hezbollah's assertions.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah had earlier indicated that the militia's attacks primarily targeted Israel's Glilot Military Base and Ein Shemer Airfield. However, Hagari clarified that most of the rockets and drones launched by Hezbollah were either intercepted by Israeli defenses or landed in uninhabited areas.
Nasrallah has mentioned that Hezbollah will evaluate the impact of the strikes on Israeli assets before deciding on any further retaliatory actions. This comes in response to the killing of Hezbollah's top military official last month, which has escalated tensions between the two sides.
