Helen Skelton’s estranged husband Richie Myler has been photographed with his new ‘girlfriend’ Stephanie Thirkill for the first time since their much publicised split.
The two were seen on a cosy stroll on Monday after Helen announced their split last month and revealed that Myler had left their family home.
He and Stephanie went for a peaceful stroll, according to a source who said they 'seemed really content together'.
In pictures shared by The Sun, Stephanie went for a red hoodie and black and white leggings while her hair was in messy bun and she went make up free..
Richie also wore basic black shorts and a plain black hooded top with a white t-shirt as they went for the walk at a reservoir in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The new couple insisted they did not begin to have a relationship until the split was official
The eyewitness told the publication: "They wandered down to the reservoir before a peaceful stroll on one of the tracks in the late sunshine.
"You can get away from everything there."
Countryfile presenter Helen had previously told Instagram followers she had split from her husband in an emotional post.
She said: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
Helen and Richie got married in 2013 and have three children - four-month-old Elsie Kate, six-year-old Ernie and four-year-old Louis.
Richie is said to have met Stephanie, the daughter of the multi-millionaire president of his club Leeds Rhinos, at a rugby dinner last year, when Helen was heavily pregnant.
Richie plays for the Leeds Rhinos as a scrum-half and fullback.
At the end of April, TV presenter Helen was seen without her wedding ring.
She is now "building her strength" for her Countryfile return and has a new TV job too - as host of Channel 4's rugby show Super League in June.
