Helen Skelton is using her downtime from Strictly Come Dancing to mark her baby daughter's first birthday in adorable fashion.
The Countryfile star narrowly missed out on taking the glitter ball trophy at the Strictly final earlier this month after the public voted Scotland's national treasure Hamza Yassin as their winner despite Helen being some tough competition.
Helen, 39, had signed up for the BBC dance show after she split from husband Richie Myler just four months following Elsie's arrival in December.
Mum-of-three Helen had announced her heartbreaking news in an Instagram post as she revealed she was "very sad" about the end of her eight-year marriage.
The former Blue Peter presenter then set about keeping herself busy, announcing she'd joined the Strictly lineup for 2022, launching a weekend show on Radio 5 Live and signing up for the Strictly live tour in 2023.
Now the TV star has proved she's come a long way in 12 months, as she shares a heartwarming post paying tribute to the tot.
Sharing a stunning black and white pic of Elsie, Stevie Atkins, wife of rugby player Ryan Atkins, wrote: "Happy first birthday to you Elsie.
"You are the most adorable little girl who stole our hearts the second we laid eyes on you. We hope your day is fun and everything you deserve it to be.
"All our love, hugs and kisses from Stevie, Ryan, Nala and Jada xxx."
She added: "Happy birthing day to you too super mummy @helenskelton. Love you more than words can say. Have a glass of champagne for me too today, mwah x."
Earlier this week we reported Helen is enjoying her break from dancing before the Strictly Live tour and she's been spending more time with her family now the BBC show has finished.
She took to social media to share a video of her eldest children - Ernie, seven, and Louis, five - having a sword fight in a car park. Captioning the sweet video, Helen wrote: "Thought we would do wholesome Christmas stuff. They wanted a sword fight in a carpark."
Speaking to RadioTimes.com ahead of the Strictly grand finale earlier this month, Helen praised the show for helping her regain her confidence and feel empowered.
She said: "I've definitely found my confidence on that dance floor and I enjoy it, and that's what it was about. I think every week, we get so many messages from people who share things about their life and that's the ultimate humbling thing.
"It's a privilege to be in people's living rooms on a Saturday night and it's a privilege when they share things and if one person has thought, 'Oh, I'm going to put myself out of my comfort zone,' or 'I'm going to take on something difficult,' that we've done our job."
