Heatwave hits trains: All the London services disrupted by the hot weather

Weather records have tumbled on Tuesday, with London sizzling in unprecedented May temperatures for a fifth straight day.

The mercury hit 35C in Kew Gardens on Tuesday afternoon, making it the hottest May day ever recorded, beating Monday’s top of 34.8C.
