There are many things Brits can't agree on – from the pronunciation of scone to whether it's called a bread roll, bap, barm or cob.
A person has sparked another heated debate after posting a picture of Robinsons Real Fruit orange drink in a popular Reddit forum and asked: "Squash or juice?".
The anonymous user continued: "Need to settle a debate with my girlfriend. When you ask for this drink, do you say squash or juice?".
The question sparked an intense debate in the comment section, and it seems Brits just can't agree on what the correct name is.
Hundreds of people took to the comment section, with many saying saying the automatic answer was squash because you're adding water, but not everyone agreed.
One person said: "Squash as you need to add water."
But someone else threw a curve ball and said: "So any drink from concentrate is technically a squash because water has been added."
"I think 'squash' and 'juice' are interchangeable," suggested one commenter.
Another person commented: "Ooo, that's a curve ball I didn't expect. I'd have to say I reckon that's a juice."
Someone else replied: "I'd say it was still squash. If you ordered fruit juice and got a glass of squash, you'd be a bit confused wouldn't you? Regardless of who added the water."
The same person replied back, saying: "Absolutely agree, this whole revelation has rocked my world. I need to lie down in a darkened room and consider this further."
"It's squash. If you say 'juice', then how do you differentiate between that and actual orange juice?," agreed another.
Some people threw further curveballs with other suggestions in the comments, such as "diluting juice", "dilute" or "cordial".
Meanwhile, Robinsons themselves told The Mirror: "With the nation’s viral squash debate popping up again on Reddit this week, we were delighted to see so many Robinsons super fans share their favourite terms for our delicious orange squash! 68% of people voted for this in our Twitter poll (and we at Robinsons agree!) - with 19.7% calling it dilutant and a further 9.5% saying it’s cordial. Glad we were able to help settle it!"
Recently another debate was sparked on Reddit after someone posted a picture of bread with two sausage inside and asked: "In places that call a bread bun a 'roll', 'how would you order one of these'?".
Commenters' minds were blown as they realised the confusion that would be caused if they were to order that in somewhere like Greggs, where a sausage roll is something completely different.
