Hearts appear to have won the race for former Scotland winger Robert Snodgrass, amid reports that he's heading to Edinburgh to finalise a deal.
The 34-year-old held talks with Motherwell about signing for them after leaving Luton Town in the summer, but boss Stevie Hammell said two weeks ago that he couldn't wait for a decision.
But it now seems that the 28-times capped former West Brom and West Ham star is in Edinburgh and is set to sign a deal with Robbie Neilson's side.
That would see him return to Scottish football, 14 years after leaving Livingston for Leeds United, and he has since spent time in England with Norwich City, Hull, West Ham, Aston Villa, West Brom and latterly Luton.
