Robbie Neilson has revealed Hearts may be 'more aggressive' in the final days of the transfer window following injuries to key men in his squad.
Liam Boyce was stretchered off with a knee problem while summer recruit Kye Rowles was also forced off in the 3-2 win over St Johnstone at Tynecastle. Both players were on target for the Gorgie side but had to be replaced during the five-goal thriller through injuries.
Neilson has opened up on the knocks picked up by the pair while Nathaniel Atkinson is also suffering with his groin. The Jambos gaffer is hoping that they are light injuries and nothing too serious, but confirmed it is very early days and the club can't tell the full extent of the injuries at the moment. Boyce and Rowles will both be sent for scans. Discussing the injuries and his plans for the final few days of the summer window, he told BBC Sportsound: "With Kye it was just his foot, his metatarsal, so we'll have a look. That'll be scanned tonight or tomorrow.

"Liam hurt his knee, again, we'll get that scanned and Atkinson was his groin. It's very early days but we're hoping they're just light injuries and we'll get them back but we can't tell at the moment."
On the loss of influential player Boyce he added: "He's a massive player for us, not just his goal scoring but his link-up play and bringing the ball into play he's a top, top player and we're just really hoping it's just a mild one.
"We've always had a plan to bring in a couple more but injuries to these guys, depending on the scans coming back, might alter that and we might be more aggressive, but we'll deal with it as it comes."
The news on brining in further additions comes off the back of German midfielder Orestis Kiomourtzoglou putting pen to paper. He has arrived from Dutch side Heracles Almelo BV – subject to international clearance and visa approval – on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.
