Heart of Midlothian have confirmed goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow will leave the club on August 1.
The 34-year-old is set to join Bundesliga side Mainz 05, ending his one-year stint at Tynecastle.
Schwolow, who made 33 appearances last season, remains available for selection until his departure and could feature in the Champions League qualifier against Sturm Graz.
The club stated: "The goalkeeper will make the move to the Bundesliga side on August 1st on undisclosed terms, but until then remains available for first-team selection."
Schwolow, a late arrival in the 2025 summer window, quickly cemented his position as Hearts' number one.
He was instrumental in their second-place Premiership finish, conceding only 27 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets.

Hearts revealed the move was driven by Schwolow's personal circumstances, as he wished to return to Germany.
Hearts said: "Though a much-valued member of the squad, a move closer to home was Alex's preference, and given the arrival of new goalkeeper Beau Reus, the club agreed to grant his request."
The club expressed gratitude for his contribution and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Dutch goalkeeper Beau Reus has already been signed on a three-year deal to fill the void left by Schwolow.
Reus joins from Belgian side Beveren, where he helped secure promotion to the top flight.
Schwolow is the latest player to leave Hearts, following the exits of Lawrence Shankland, Frankie Kent, Michael Steinwender, Cammy Devlin, and Beni Baningime.
