HBO recently unveiled a sneak peek of several highly anticipated new and returning series, generating excitement among fans. The preview footage showcased a diverse lineup of shows, including the second season of The Last of Us and the first season of the Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The trailer, which premiered before the season two finale of House of the Dragon, also offered glimpses of other upcoming projects. Viewers were treated to teasers from The White Lotus season 3, the IT spin-off series It: Welcome to Derry, the superhero parody The Franchise, and the new seasons of The Gilded Age and And Just Like That…, among others.
Notable mentions in the preview included Industry season 3, the final season of My Brilliant Friend, the adult animated DC Universe series Creature Commandos, the Dune spin-off drama Dune: Prophecy, and The Batman spin-off series The Penguin.
Additionally, viewers got a sneak peek at the documentary Wise Guy David Chase and The Sopranos, exploring the life and career of The Sopranos creator. New Max originals such as The Pitt, starring Noah Wyle, and the J.J. Abrams' drama Duster, featuring Rachel Hilson and Josh Holloway, were also highlighted.
While some of the highly anticipated shows are set to debut in 2025, including The Last of Us season two, Welcome to Derry, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and …And Just Like That season three, a few are just around the corner. Industry is scheduled to return on August 11, with The Franchise and The Penguin following later this year and on September 19, respectively.
