Haryana: Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim walks out of Rohtak jail on furlough

CHANDIGARH: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the chief of Dera Sacha Sauda and a rape convict, was released on Tuesday from Sunaria jail in Haryana's Rohtak district after being granted a 21-day furlough. This marks his third temporary release from prison this year.

The 56-year-old Dera chief exited the jail around 2 pm, according to official sources. During his furlough, Singh is scheduled to visit the Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram in Barnawa, located in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat.
