Harry Potter TV series pending as Warner Bros confirms 'passion and interest'

A boss at Warner Bros TV has said there is a "tremendous amount of ambition" to create a Harry Potter TV series. Group boss Channing Dungey also revealed that the company is closing in on a deal with Amazon for animated DC content.

The news came during an interview with Variety, where the Dungey was asked about the possibility of TV project in the wizarding world. The curiosity follows the huge success of the Harry Potter reunion and "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses" - a competition show hosted by Helen Mirren.
