The traditional Halloween fireworks displays are set to return in Omagh and Enniskillen this year after a three year absence due to Covid 19 restrictions.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has confirmed the popular fireworks displays would go ahead this year after being cancelled in 2020 and 2021.
"I am delighted that the Halloween fireworks displays are returning to both Omagh and Enniskillen this year,” council chair Barry McElduff told Belfast Live.

“These events have traditionally been very popular with families, indeed with everyone.
“I am confident that this year's Halloween events will attract large numbers to both of our main towns.
“They will definitely provide families with important seasonal entertainment, something to which undoubtedly all of us look forward."
The details of the events in the two towns have yet to be finalised, with a council spokesperson saying these will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The fireworks displays were cancelled for a second time in 2021 due to council authorities not having sufficient time to plan due to the uncertainty related to Covid restrictions earlier in the year.
Instead last year the council hosted a range of free street entertainment in its two biggest towns, but the skies will once again be lit up for Halloween in Omagh and Enniskillen.
