A week of sunny and cloudy weather mixed in with a few rain showers is forecast for Greater Manchester.
According to the Met Office, some heavy rain may fall in our region this morning (Monday) before some lighter showers are forecast for this afternoon. Sunny and cloudy spells are then expected.
On Tuesday, some light showers are forecast throughout the day while more sunny and cloudy intervals are expected. Similar weather conditions are forecast for Wednesday, with some light showers forecast for the late morning in parts of Greater Manchester.

Temperatures will slowly rise throughout the week, according to the Met Office. Forecasters predict today to be the coldest day of the week, with the mercury reaching highs of 16C.
Temperatures will then rise each day, climbing to 23C by Friday. This is currently forecast to be the hottest day, with temperatures of around 22C and 21C then forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
