A property in Rochdale has had a huge amount of interest after it was put on the market earlier this week. Andrew Kelly, one of the largest independent estate agents in the borough, listed the four-bed home in Hall Fold, Whitworth for sale on Tuesday, August 16 - and ever since it has been swarmed with attention.
The local estate agents say that the property has 'created a stir' in their office, with phones ringing 'non stop' since it has gone live. The firm also said that as of Friday, they already had more than 40 requests to view the home.
The characterful Moss Barn is a stone built detached home with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, therefore it is no surprise to hear it has been a hit with house hunters. The home will go to auction and has been listed with a guide price of £300,000.

The barn-style home is located close to the centre of Whitworth village and Healey Dell Nature Reserve within easy access to all shops, schools, local amenities and open countryside. It also overlooks Spring Mill reservoir and is in close distance to Cowm Reservoir.
On the ground floor the spacious house has a grand entrance hall, an open kitchen dining area, separate dining room, lounge, living room and a conservatory.
Up on the first floor are four bedrooms, a Jack and Jill bathroom with access from bedroom one and bedroom two, a family bathroom and useful storage areas.
Outside the home boasts a wrap-around garden as well as two wooden stables that are currently used for storage and a driveway.
Sharing images and the listing for home to their Facebook page, Andrew Kelly & Associates wrote: "This property is certainly creating a stir in our Rochdale Office.
"The phones have not stopped ringing since we made this property live and we've had over 40 viewing requests so far.
"Our Auction Team knew this property would be popular and couldn't wait to bring it to market."
Reacting to the post on Facebook, many house hunters said this would be their 'dream home'.
Beckyy Leyland said: Wow, someone buy me this please. Thanks in advance. Stunning."
Jo Stevenson wrote: "This house is the one! Imagine that with some TLC and modernisation - absolute future goals."
