On Monday, the motorcade escorting Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to a campaign stop in Milwaukee was involved in a crash on Interstate 794. The incident occurred while the Democratic vice presidential nominee was on his way to speak at the Milwaukee Area Labor Council’s 'Laborfest 2024' event.
Several press vans were part of the motorcade and were affected by the crash. Staff members traveling in the vans required medical attention following the collision. Reports indicate that individuals in the vehicles were forcefully thrown forward upon impact as one van collided with another.
