Golden Globes viewers went wild during the 'flirty' exchange between Colin Farrell and Ana de Armas.
The 46-year-old won the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture in a Musical/Comedy for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin.
He accepted the gong from none other than Blonde actress Ana and fans were loving the chemistry between the two.
Before starting his acceptance speech, he told the 34-year-old that she was 'extraordinary' and that her role as Marilyn Monroe left him 'crying himself to sleep'.
"I just thought you were extraordinary," he said to her. "I cried myself to sleep the night I saw your film, Blonde. I cried myself to sleep.
"One thing had to do with the music that played at the moment where the shot opens and just seeing her ankles at the edge of the bed. It messed me up so bad."
He added: "Not a joke, but you're welcome to laugh. It's not my place to say what's appropriate laughter in this world."
Viewers immediately took to social media to question whether Colin was trying to 'pick her up on stage'.
"Is Colin Farrell trying to pick up Ana de Armas on this stage? Respect," one amused user tweeted.
One person wrote: "Colin Farrell is like us all: he had one clear shot at Ana de Armas and he took it/did his best. Respect."
"Colin Farrell's got the momentum," another added. "The Oscar is his. Using the speech just to shout out Ana De Armas ' ankles in Blonde is just flexing."
One user posted: "Colin Farrell shooting his shot at Ana de Armas while accepting his award on live TV that's king sh**."
"Colin farrell taking up a chunk of his speech to talk to ana de armas about how hard he cried seeing blonde? love that," another impressed fan wrote.
Colin starred alongside Brendan Gleeson in the hilarious Banshees of Inisherin - with who he worked on In Bruges.
It was written, directed and co-produced by Martin McDonagh. The director also won the accolade for Best Screenplay.
During his speech, Colin also said: "To work on this film, I never expect films to work or to find an audience and when they do, it's shocking to me. I'm horrified by what's happened around over the last couple of months, in a thrilling kind of way.
"Brendan, I love you so much. To get to cohabitate in this creative space with you every day. All I did when I came to work every day was aspire to be your equal. I'm not saying I got there but the aspiration got me going."
