The Golden Globe Awards returned to our screens on Tuesday after it was shunned last year following a racism row.
Stars, directors, producers, creators and a string of celebs headed to the Beverly Hilton, for the event, which was celebrating its 80th edition.
The race scandal was quickly picked up by host Jerrod Carmichael, who was the annual event's first black host in its history.
The comedian joked he was only given the honour because he is black - and also touched on his $500k pay cheque he's receiving for his role.
Among the award winners was Angela Bassett, who made history with her win for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. By lifting the gong, she became the first actress to win a Golden Globe for a Marvel movie.
Earlier in the night, Austin Butler picked up his first Golden Globe for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the biopic of the legendary singer.
Eddie Murphy was also honoured at the ceremony with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Accepting the award, he said the blueprint for longevity in showbiz is: "Pay your taxes, mind your business, and keep Will Smith's wife's name out of your f***ing mouth!"
